My First 2 Events of the WSOP

I have played 3 events so far heres what happened in the first 2. The first was the 2000nl and i didnt last past the 2nd level. There was only 1 interesting hand.

25/50

I have about 3,800 when this happens. I have JJ. The big fish at the table min raises to 100 in MP and then the button makes it 400. I have seen this guy squeeze preflop already once and he was playing pretty aggressive so i thought i had the best hand and reraised to 1125. He then went allin for 2,150 more. I thought the guy would reraise less than with KK or AA against the fish so i put him on AK and made the marginal call. He shows KK. I shouldnt be playing allin pots with jacks in the first and second level. I should have just called the 400 and lead at the flop or fold.

1500nl shorthanded

25/50
I start off at a juicy table with jennifer tilly. I pick off a couple of bluffs and then i bluff it all back by reraising the button with 4-5s. He raised to 200 and he looked weak so i reraised to 575. he called and i bet 650 on a k-q-7 rainbow flop. he went allin for like 1500 more. i have no idea what this guy had.

I unforunately get moved from that juicy table to issac haxton's table. I have alot of respect for his game. Issac was raising almost everytime it was folded to him. He was in the cutoff when i was in the big blind so i knew i was in for a big challenge. I decided to just play tight and use it to my advantage.

Issac raises to 150 in the cuttoff and the sb calls i decide to call with q-8o. it comes k-q-q and the sb leads for 200 i called it pretty fast/weakly to make it look like i dont have a queen. Issac then raises to 1k the small blind folds i think about it for a little bit and call since im pretty confident issac is bluffing. turn comes a 9 i check he gives up, T on river check-check. My fast call won me a bigger pot i really liked how i played it. He outplayed me a few times im pretty sure and got most of those chips back from me. I reraise him once with 6-8o since i had a tight image and succeeded.

50/100
Issac gets busted on a cooler hand so im happy. So im at 4700 now, the new chipleader limps utg i limp on button with 44. flop comes j-4-8 (2 hearts) chipleader bets 350 i raise to 850. he
thinks about putting me allin/reraising but ends up flat calling. turn is the K of hearts check-check. river is a 3 non-heart he bets 1k i decide to pay off. He had q-j of hearts.

100/200-100/200(w/ante)-150/300(ante)-200/400(ante)
i get moved to a new table which was playing really soft. There was this native american who was making these huge overbets on flops and raising 5-6x the blind preflop. Everytime he saw weakness preflop he was raising. I was waiting to trap him for all my chips. I was grinding a 20bb stack in about every one of these levels. There was no big pots just a bunch of small pots. I was pretty card dead, I jammed a couple of times with a-q and a-j when i thought they were the best hand.

200/400 ante 50
There was 1400 or so players in this event and they will done to 170-175 players when this happened 126 get paid. The crazy native american limps in sb i check in bb with q-8o. I started
the hand with 8,200 and he had 4,500 (he had about 14k a couple hands ago but he donked a bunch off). Flop comes a-k-k and he instantly shoved allin. i knew what was going thru his head he knew i would probably put him allin or raise preflop with an ace so he thinks i cant call. But i call him pretty quickly and go with my instincts. he has j-2 of diamonds and hits running diamonds, great hand squanto.

I now have 3,600 and get moved to a new table immediately after that last hand. i notice joe awada has a monster stack. i move in on my 2nd hand with a-6s and pick up blinds. About an orbit later im in sb joe raises to 900 on button i shove in with a-9 for 4000 total and he called a-8s. i lose to diamond flush again and miss the money by about 40 players. I feel like i played perfect and dont regret any decision i made just ran bad in all of the big pots i played.
