I noticed nobody at the table and it was obviously a very weak table. I was opening anything playable and playing alot of pots trying to hit a big one. I was fighting with this other guy 2 to my left for control over the table. My stack was yoyo-ing from 2500 to 3500. You only start with 3k and 60bbs so i double up early is key. I opened 8Tdd utg to 150 at 25/50 LP called and bb called. flop was 997dd i bet 350 LP called and bb check raised to 1100 it was obv he had 9 but i cant fold in this spot given the odds and the horrible structure. I shoved and he had 96ss. Turn was 2d and river was 7. Nice tease of course.
0 for 2 cashing, -$11,500 in losses so far

WSOP First Event 10k Pot Limit Holdem
My starting table consisted of david singer, ted lawson, chad brown, 2 unknowns who were decent/kind of weak, mike sexton, kevin sung? i think, andy bloch. I felt like i played perfect poker up to my busto hand. I was picking my spots so well and my bluff success rate was 100% if u dont count contiuation bets.
I only played 2 orbits at my new table when my bustout hand happened. I had no reads on the guy so it was a really marginal spot i should have avoided against a guy i dont know much about. Here is the pokernews hand history:
DeWitt is Crippled
Jason DeWitt was facing a pot-sized bet of 95,000 from David Stroj on a 6c8c4sJs board. After some long thought, DeWitt decided to put Stroj all in, as he had only a few thousand behind. Stroj quickly made the call. Stroj showed AA and DeWitt showed 77. The river was the Qh and Stroj doubled up to over 290,000. DeWitt has been crippled and now has under 8,000 chips remaining.
The MasterJ Theory in effect "No one folds a pair and a gutty"
So I bust 41th place when they are paying 36 spots (23k for cashing). This is the 2nd 10k event in a row i bubbled weeeeeeeeeeeee
